This fabulous frosted wool is a wonderful black with silver hairs running throughout it! Some of the wool looks dark gray because there are so many silver hairs running through them! The tips on this wool are anywhere from a light to a dark brown. This wool is 3 1/2 - 4 inches long with nice lofty, coarse fibers. This wool is PERFECT for your primitive dolls! There is NO VEGETABLE MATTER in this wool because I meticulously handwashed it one lock at a time. It was a very time consuming job, but the results were well worth it! I used a special soap that left the wool super soft with a beautiful shine!! You will receive ONE FULL OUNCE of this beautiful wool---not a half ounce like others sell! This wool is very, very light and generously fills a 10" x 6" ziplock bag, which is enough to use on SEVERAL dolls! This wool can be hand stitched in place, needlefelted, or even glued down. It is a wool that you will be very pleased with!
