This fleece is a wonderful gray color with brown tips! There are several different colors of gray in this wool---from light gray all the way to dark gray. It is 2 1/2 - 3 1/2 inches long with nice lofty fibers. This wool is PERFECT for your primitive dolls and witches! There is NO VEGETABLE MATTER in this wool because I meticulously handwash it one lock at a time. It is a very time consuming job, but the results are well worth it! I use a special soap that leaves the wool super soft with a beautiful shine! You will receive ONE FULL OUNCE of this beautiful wool---not a half ounce like others sell! This fleece is very, very light and generously fills a 10" x 6" ziplock bag, which is enough to use on SEVERAL dolls!
This fleece is a Corriedale/Cheviot cross. It can be hand stitched in place, needlefelted, or even glued down. It is a beautiful fleece that you will be very pleased with!
