Some of the locks have a bit more brown than the others, but most of it is shiny silver with just a kiss of brown. This soft wool is absolutely beautiful! Each lock is approximately 3-4 1/2 inches long with a nice crimp and soft, silky, fluffy fibers. This wool is PERFECT for your primitive and reborn dolls! There is NO VEGETABLE MATTER in this wool because I meticulously hand washed it one small batch at a time. It was a very time consuming job, but the results were well worth it! I used a special soap that left the wool super soft with a beautiful shine and a fresh scent! You will receive ONE FULL OUNCE of this beautiful wool---not a half ounce like others sell! This wool is very light and generously fills a 10" x 6" zip lock bag, which is enough to use on SEVERAL dolls! This wool is from a gorgeous Romney ewe named Melly. It can be hand stitched in place, needle felted, or even glued down. It is wool that you will be very pleased with!
