This listing is for an extreme primitive, grungy black doll!   Ellie is a wonderfully prim 14" tall primitive black doll that is just so ugly, she's cute!  She's very easy to make!  Ellie's nose is needle-sculpted, her mouth is primly hand stitched onto grungied muslin, and her eyes are mismatched vintage buttons.  She's been painted, coffee/vanilla/cinnamon stained, baked, and then sanded several times!  Real sheep's wool has been handstitched onto her head for hair.  (You can even buy this same sheep's wool in my listings here!  It's the black/gray wool!)  You're gonna love making Ellie!  I've included easy step-by-step instructions in this pattern along with a  color photo, full-size patterns, and lots of little tips and secrets on how to make primitive dolls.
