Lucy's been sewing as long as she can remember. When her daddy caught her using her mother's sewing machine, he got her a treadle sewing machine of her own. She started by designing and making dolls for herself, then as she grew up, for her children. She's been designing and making  dolls professionally for more than 25 years.

Lucy's  patterns include primitive, folk art, country,and extreme primitive designs. You will find dolls, both black and white, of all kinds including mammies, belindy, and raggedies. There are Santas and snowmen for winter. There are witches, folk art pumpkin head dolls, scarecrows and spooky cats for halloween and fall. There is a large selection of animals for spring as well as the rest of the year including bunnies, cats, rabbits, eagles, a wonderful hobby horse, pigs and sheep (with instructions for pull toys for these 2). There are also make-dos and pinkeepers.
