I use lots of re-claimed wool from clothing I find at local thrift shops. Very basic supplies are needed and can be found at JoAnn Fabrics. Penny rugs are so much fun to make. Prepare a bunch and stitch them easily while watching your favorite TV shows at night. A very relaxing craft. These make great gifts!
