The pattern features a large burgundy wool star with a 2 layer penny in the center surrounded by moss green stems, leaves and multi-colored pennies against an antique gold wool background. The rug is "framed" by adding a black wool backing that extends beyound the design layer. The finished mat measures 8" high by 11" wide.
SO EASY TO COMPLETE! I design my patterns for the beginner. My designs are finished using re-claimed wool or wool felt. Anyone can make this mat! Simple embroidery stitches are used and there is NO pinning of the pieces!
