German style stuffed Santa Penny Rug Pattern
one of my NEW designs for Chirstmas 2011!
Made in the penny rug style this handsome German style Santa stands 17" tall. He features a colorful Victorian paper face.
The pattern includes 6 faces for you to make more Santas.
This fellow is SO EASY to make. I whipped up 5 in one day!
You may use a variety of fabrics but I prefer to make them from wool or wool felt. You need the simplest of supplies including hot glue ~ wool roving for the beard ~ mica or glitter sprinkle if desired as well as a sprig of faux greens and faux fur. All supplies are easy to find at your local craft store. If you have trouble locating them email me and I can help you with a "finishing Kit" that includes the beard and faux fur. There is an additional charge for the kit.
Get started making some Christmas gifts or make some to sell at craft shows. Hang him on a door or prop him on a shelf.
