You may adjust the size to fit any frame you may want to use or how about adding a backing, stuffing and making a perfectly primitive pillow? To make a penny rug simply add a matching sized backing and blanket stitch the outer edges.

Who doesn't LIKE penny rugs? Well, it's time to get BUSY and learn a new hobby for GIFT GIVING or to decorate your primitive country home. I have a variety of different PENNY RUG designs FOR YOU TO SEW!

My PATTERNS have "gone green" as the construction of the cover uses re-cycled wool from coats that you can find at local THRIFT SHOPS or you may choose to buy NEW wool felt at your local fabric store such as JO ANN FABRICS.

I include a COLOR PHOTO of the finished stitchery as well as COMPLETE INSTRUCTIONS for "felting" the wool, materials needed, tracing, cutting and sewing.
You will also be instructed how to paint-crackle and antique an old frame to make it primitive as well as how to construct a simple pillow. I also share my own personal method of "ANTIQUING" the stitched design to make it look PROPERLY PRIM if you so desire!
