Scarecrow Candy Jar is made with a one quart wide mouth candy jar.  The Scarecrow's collar is made of a orange flannel trimmed with gold floss.  The collar can also be made with orange felt.  His face is made of tea-dyed muslin and he has a orange flannel nose that is whipstitched on and two black bead eyes.  The Scarecrow's mouth, brows and eyelashes are drawn on with a .05 black pigma pen.  He has raffia hair.  The hat is made of country blue felt that is blanket stitched with gold floss.  The flower is made of light and dark gold felt.  The Scarecrow has ties around his neck made of calico strips and a small sunflower button at the neckline.  His tag read, SCARECROW CANDY JAR.  When finished just fill with your favorite hard candy.  Make a great gift.  Also is a awesome craft show seller.
