Snugglebug Blessins
I am so excited to be a part of this wonderful group of artisans at the Pattern Cupboard. I got started making crafts approx. 15 years ago when my daughter was about 3. She is 18 now. I started making dressed bears, of all things then found that beloved magazine "Country Marketplace". Still miss it to this day. That magazine opened up a whole new world of fun, excitement and new ideas for creating primitive dolls and more.It wasn't long before I started altering the patterns I had purchased and then moved into creating my own. I have to tell you that wasn't as easy as it looks. Creating the doll then writing up the patterns and putting it together is a challenge even to this day. But I wouldn't have it any other way. I admire any one crafter who choses to become a designer as I know the difficulties and lots of hard work that goes into each and every pattern made. For the longest time I have made patterns. I have dabbled in primitive, vintage, whimsical, fairies and even altered art. As I feel you can learn from any medium and bring it back to your original style. I fell out of love of prims for awhile honestly, but thanks be to George Washington and the History Channel, my love renewed. It was long days of recovery from surgery and nothing to do but sit around and watch TV, that the History Channel had a wonderful, series on George and the Revolutionary War. It made me appreciate once again how our blessed men and women sacrificed for our freedom and now my love for primitives has re-emerged. May God bless America again. Some Graphic Contributions By: Trina Clark |
