This extremely silky soft alpaca fiber is solid black and absolutely beautiful! It is approximately 3 1/2 - 4 inches long with gorgeous soft, silky fibers. This fiber is PERFECT for your primitive dolls! There is NO VEGETABLE MATTER in this fiber because I meticulously handwashed it one small batch at a time. It was a very time consuming job, but the results were well worth it! I used a special soap that left the fiber super soft with a beautiful shine! You will receive ONE FULL OUNCE of this beautiful fiber---not a half ounce like others sell! This fiber is very,very light and generously fills a 10" x 6" ziplock bag, which is enough to use on SEVERAL dolls! This gorgeous alpaca fiber can be hand stitched in place, needlefelted, or even glued down. It is a fiber that you will be very pleased with!
